New business show for Manchester
A new free event being held in Manchester in September is set to help budding business people bloom.
The first Manchester Business Show, being held at Manchester Central on Friday, 17 September, aims to provide information, advice, and networking opportunities for people looking at starting or expanding a business.
Running from 12noon to 7.30pm, the Manchester Business Show will include talks from keynote speakers including entrepreneur and first lady of Dragons' Den, Rachel Elnaugh; Dragons’ Den Online panellist and columnist Shaf Rasul; and founder of Ecademy.com, Penny Power.
There will also be free workshops and seminars for visitors to the show to partake in, covering a plethora of critical business skills including putting together finance for your new business, marketing your business, and recruitment.
Among the highlights of the free workshops will be the four hosted by the show’s sponsor, Sage, designed to teach you essential operational skills such as business planning, customer relationship management and payroll.
There will also be a host of exhibitors showcasing key business-to-business services, and opportunities for you to speak one-to-one with experts who can give you advice about getting your business idea off the ground, or taking the next step with expanding your business to whole new heights.
The Manchester Business Show is a sister event to Business Startup, which is held in London biannually.
