'How can The Franchise Show help me?’ you ask. Quite simply, The Franchise Show, on 18 and 19th February 2011 at London's ExCel, can offer everything you need to know about franchising, regardless of whether you’re just starting out as a first-time franchisee, looking at taking on multiple franchise units, taking on a Master Franchise for a region or a country, or even planning to expand your own business via franchising.
Over 100 of the world’s best brands and concepts will be exhibiting at The Franchise Show, allowing you the chance to talk face-to-face with franchisees and franchisors, and ascertain the type of franchise that’s right for you.
This, the third annual event, is being presented by Prysm Group, which organises the UK’s biggest event for SMEs, Business Startup, together with the world’s largest lead generator and franchise exhibition organiser MFV Expositions.
With last year’s event attracting a record 8,500 visitors, The Franchise Show is one of the country’s largest franchising events. With backing from the US Department of Commerce, and promotion in 27 different countries, The Franchise Show is also fast becoming ‘one to watch’ on the international business event stage.
The event will boast 150 seminars and workshops, and advice from franchising experts from the UK, US and beyond, opportunities for 1-2-1 advice, and opportunities to hear ‘from the horse’s mouth’ what makes for a successful franchise.
Unlike traditional business exhibitions, The Franchise Show is far from being an onslaught of sales pitches. Indeed, the organisers like to think the show provides a fair and open environment for potential franchisees to make an informed decision.
“It’s not only about exhibitors,” says Simon Chicken, The Franchise Show director.
“It’s about educating visitors about what opportunities are out there, what opportunities might suit the individual. It’s a chance to understand the questions they should ask franchisors if they decide they want to become a franchisee.”
