A Question of Business is one of the fun new features being introduced to celebrate The Business Startup Show’s 25th event milestone. The Business Startup Show has been a regular fixture on new and aspiring entrepreneurs' calendars for more than a decade. The biannual event is a comprehensive guide to starting and running a successful business. Attracting an average of 20,000 visitors, it is the UK's largest event of its type.
The upcoming Business Startup Show will be host to more than 140 free seminars led by some of the UK’s most successful entrepreneurs and business experts, and over 200 exhibitors will be showcasing the goods, services, support and know-how required to get a new business off the ground, and take an existing business to whole new heights.
Add to this free workshops on areas such as business planning, branding and marketing; 121 advice sessions with experts on every business-related topic imaginable; The Midas Touch, a feature that challenges contestants to pitch their business model or idea to a Dragons' Den-style panel of millionaire investors; and intensive Speed Networking sessions, and you've got an event that any serious entrepreneur can't afford to miss.
Among highlights of the speaker schedule are Wilfred ‘The Black Farmer’ Emmanuel-Jones, former Dragons Doug Richard and Rachel Elnaugh, founder of Ecademy Penny Power, Small Business Minister Mark Prisk, and Minister of State for Trade and Investment Lord Green.
The event’s official opening on Thursday morning will be performed by David Gold of Gold Group International, which encompasses organisations such as Ann Summers and West Ham United FC. The organisers are also inviting the public to join them at a Champagne Reception for the opening to help mark the 25th event.
